Long View Lake Camp Out | Curé of Ars' Boy Scout program is year-round and uniquely designed to meet the needs of boys 10 to 18 and their parents. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness. Service projects, ceremonies, games, and other activities guide boys through the core values and give them a sense of personal achievement. Through positive peer group interaction and parental guidance, boys also learn honesty, responsibility, and respect. Our troop is dedicated to following the principals of the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. Family involvement is an essential part of the Boy Scouting experience, and parents are encouraged to play an active role in the program. Through interaction with parents, leaders, and friends, boys learn cooperation, compassion, and courage. This family- and community-centered approach to learning means that Boy Scouting is truly time well spent. Our boys also revel in a 10- day summer camp at the one and only H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation, the best Boy Scout Camp in the country recently honored by the National BSA Camp Committee. It is also the home of the truly unique Tribe of Micosay. Troop 395 meets most Mondays at the Cure' of Ars School Cafeteria. Join us today and start your adventure now! |
